Growth Marketing & Revenue Operations Manager, Cloud AI Security
Our buyers are technical - CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, VP Infrastructure, VP Cloud, and the network and security architects who evaluate our work. They can spot a marketer who doesn't understand the product in one sentence.
Zappsec is not constrained by service quality. It's constrained by go-to-market. We have technical credibility and a delivery engine that works. What we don't have is a single owner of the revenue engine: someone who understands what we sell, builds the pipeline machinery to put it in front of the right buyers, and improves it weekly without being told to.
You are not managing an agency or executing someone else's calendar. You are designing the ICP, the campaigns, the automation, and the reporting - and you are personally in the tools doing the work.
Fluency across all four is expected. Strong candidates describe how they connect these into one pipeline - not how they use each in isolation.

About Zappsec
Zappsec is an AI-first cloud, cybersecurity, and networking engineering company. We build the infrastructure layer for US mid-market and enterprise organizations: cloud migration and modernization, landing zones, AWS networking, zero trust, and network security. Our buyers are technical - CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, VP Infrastructure, VP Cloud, and the network and security architects who evaluate our work. They can spot a marketer who doesn't understand the product in one sentence.
Mission
To become the reference AI-native cloud and cybersecurity engineering partner for enterprise infrastructure buyers - known as much for how we execute as for what we build.Zappsec is not constrained by service quality.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine the ICP across cloud, cybersecurity, and networking segments - grounded in real account and buyer research, not assumptions.
- Own outbound end to end: account research, list building, sequence design, copy, and execution across LinkedIn and email.
- Own inbound: landing pages, lead magnets, campaign strategy, and the nurture flows that convert interest into pipeline.
- Build and maintain HubSpot as the single source of truth - workflows, lifecycle stages, attribution, CRM hygiene.
- Connect HubSpot, Clay, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Instantly, and HeyReach into one revenue engine, not six disconnected tools.
- Report on what's working with enough rigor to change the plan based on numbers, not instinct.
- Learn the technical substance of what we sell - well enough to write credibly for a CISO without being fed talking points.
- Use AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Clay enrichment) as real leverage in research, copy, and analysis - never as a substitute for your judgment. Review overnight campaign and reply data across Instantly and HeyReach; fix what needs fixing.
- Build ICP segments in Clay, draft sequences, or ship landing pages. Automate HubSpot workflows including reporting, or a working session with the CEO/Head of marketing on what to double down on and what to kill.
Required Experience
- 5–9 years in growth marketing, demand generation, or revenue operations in B2B.
- Demonstrated experience personally building campaigns from a blank page - not inheriting a machine someone else designed.
- Hands-on fluency across a modern GTM stack: CRM/automation (HubSpot or equivalent), enrichment (Clay, ZoomInfo, or equivalent), outbound execution (Instantly, HeyReach, or equivalent).
- AI tools used in daily execution, not just familiarity with the concept.
- Exposure to cloud, cybersecurity, or networking as an industry - as a marketer, seller, analyst, or practitioner.
- Early-stage (0-to-1 GTM) or agency-side experience where there was no playbook to inherit.
- Technical background, or self-taught technical fluency evidenced in writing or public work.

| 1 | Critical thinking | 6 | Analytical thinking |

You Will Do Well Here If
- You've built something from nothing and didn't wait to be told how.
- You get curious about how Cloud, Networking or Zero Trust architecture actually works, unprompted.
- You'd rather run the experiment than debate what the result would probably be.
- You use AI to move faster and can still defend every word it helped produce.
- An underperforming campaign makes you open the data, not write a status update explaining it away.
What Makes Someone Fail Here
- You've mostly briefed agencies and haven't personally written the copy or configured the tool.
- You need a playbook, brand guidelines, and a content calendar before you can start.
- Technical subject matter is something you'd rather avoid than dig into.
- You treat AI output as a finished deliverable rather than a draft you're accountable for.
- Ambiguity reads to you as a management failure rather than a normal starting condition.
- You report activities. This role reports outcomes.
